Palazzo Versace Dubai's acclaimed dining destination, Enigma, invites guests to immerse themselves in the rich tapestry of ancient Iranian traditions and celebrate Yalda Night on Thursday, December 21st, from 7 PM to 11 PM. This evening promises a culinary journey steeped in the spirit of Shab-e-Yalda, the age-old Persian winter solstice celebration symbolizing the triumph of light over darkness.
To mark the occasion, diners are invited to dive into an extravaganza of culinary artistry with Enigma’s spectacular sharing-style menu, showcasing a selection of authentic Iranian appetizers, mains and desserts. Complementing the delightful culinary offering, Enigma will be transformed into a haven of winter festivities, adorned with meticulous Yalda decorations, showcasing vibrant summer fruits like pomegranates, watermelons, and persimmons, alongside collections of works by the revered Iranian poet Hafez. To further elevate the setting, tables will be elegantly adorned with flickering candles and vibrant red flowers serving as beautiful centrepieces, complete with personalized pomegranates and thoughtful welcome gifts, ensuring a memorable experience for all guests.
The culinary journey will begin with traditional Sabzi Khordan (walnuts, herbs, homemade Persian cheese, bread and pickle), followed by cold and warms starters like, Salad Chupan (watermelon, cress, olives, walnuts and cheese), Salad Shirazi (chopped cucumbers, tomatoes, onions and mint), Zeytoon Parwardeh (marinated green olives with walnuts and pomegranate), Kashke Bademjun (charcoal-grilled eggplants with Kashk, fried mint, and roasted onions), Kuku Sabzi Palazzo (Persian herbs frittata with barberries, candied walnuts, and yogurt) and more.
For the main courses, guests can savor a variety of delectable Kebabs, Seabass and Ghorme Sabzi, culminating the evening with mouthwatering desserts, such as Faludeh, Pomegranate Yoghurt Parfait and Pomegranate Cookies, thoughtfully presented by Enigma’s team members, who will be dressed up as Persian Kings.
Guests will have the option to revel in the enchanting atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating, offering stunning views of the main pool and Dubai Creek. For Yalda Night, diners can also choose to revel in the festive ambience with al fresco seating available on the Mosaico terrace.
Enigma will elevate the evening’s ambiance with a captivating line-up of live entertainment, featuring an Iranian DJ complemented by a guitarist performing Persian songs, percussionists creating rhythmic beats, and dancers dressed in traditional Iranian garments, providing the perfect setting to celebrate the age-old festival.
