Dubai-based carrier Emirates has announced an earlier-than-planned deployment of its state-of-the-art Airbus A350 to Kuwait and Bahrain, beginning January 8, 2025.

These destinations will be the second and third to welcome the airline's latest aircraft, following its debut.

The A350 will operate daily on EK853 and EK854 to Kuwait, departing Dubai at 01:25 AM and returning at 06:25 AM. For Bahrain, the aircraft will service two of Emirates’ three daily flights—EK837/838 and EK839/840. Departure times from Dubai are 08:20 AM and 04:00 PM, with return flights arriving back at 12:15 PM and 08:00 PM, respectively.

Configured in three classes, the A350 accommodates 312 passengers, featuring 32 next-generation Business Class lie-flat seats, 21 Premium Economy seats, and 259 Economy Class seats. Passengers will enjoy cutting-edge technology, including faster Wi-Fi, an upgraded inflight entertainment system, and a spacious cabin design with high ceilings and wider aisles.

The move highlights Emirates’ ongoing commitment to enhancing passenger experiences. This year, the airline introduced its Premium Economy cabin and reimagined Business Class on the retrofitted Boeing 777 for Kuwait. The A350 now brings similar advancements to Bahrain, complementing the current fleet of Boeing 777s.

Having served Kuwait since 1989, Emirates currently operates 29 weekly flights to the country. Bahrain enjoys 22 weekly connections, now set to benefit from the enhanced service offered by the Airbus A350.

With this deployment, Emirates continues to set benchmarks in aviation comfort and technology, elevating travel standards across the Gulf region.
