Emirates has announced the addition of a second daily Airbus A380 service between Dubai and Bali, operating from 1 September to 26 October 2024.

This move comes in response to a surge in travel demand to the island during the peak season. The new A380 service, replacing the existing Boeing 777 flights on the EK398/399 route, will significantly increase capacity, offering over 2,600 additional weekly seats.

This expansion follows the success of Emirates' inaugural A380 flight to Indonesia, launched on 1 June 2023, and aims to further support Indonesia’s tourism sector. The airline's enhanced service will provide passengers with access to its premium amenities, including spacious cabins, an exclusive Onboard Lounge, and the award-winning ice inflight entertainment system with over 6,500 channels.

Emirates has been operating flights to Indonesia since 1992, starting with Jakarta and later adding Bali in 2015. The airline now offers double daily flights to both destinations, connecting travellers from Indonesia to its extensive global network across more than 144 destinations.

Tickets for the new A380 service can be booked through Emirates' official channels, including their website, sales offices, contact centres, and travel agents. For more details on travel requirements to Dubai, passengers can visit the Emirates website.
