Emirates is increasing its flights between Dubai and Cairo with six additional weekly services starting 1st December 2025 to meet rising travel demand during the peak winter season.
The move reflects the airline’s strategic focus on strengthening connectivity across its global network.
From 1st February 2026, Emirates will operate a daily flight on the route, complementing its existing four daily services. The new schedule, operated with Boeing 777 aircraft, is designed to offer seamless connections to key Asian destinations including Hong Kong, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand.
Cairo has been a priority market for Emirates since it joined the airline’s network, and currently hosts the highest deployment of Emirates A380s outside Dubai in the Middle East and North Africa. With the additional service, Cairo will become the most served city in Emirates’ African network, underscoring the airline’s long-term commitment ahead of its 40th anniversary of operations to the Egyptian capital.
Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, highlighted the importance of Cairo as a gateway for both passengers and cargo. He said the enhanced schedule will facilitate connections across Emirates’ network while supporting trade and tourism links between Egypt, the UAE, and international markets.
The expanded services will also boost cargo capacity, offering up to 300 tonnes weekly via the Boeing 777, including key exports such as fresh Egyptian produce. Emirates SkyCargo plays a crucial role in connecting Egyptian businesses with global markets efficiently and reliably.
Since launching its first flight to Cairo in 1986, Emirates has served over 10 million passengers on the route and strengthened aviation, tourism, and trade ties, becoming a long-standing partner in Egypt’s economic growth and international connectivity.
