Emirates Airline has signed an agreement with Dubai Investments Park to develop a purpose-built Cabin Crew Village, marking a multi-billion-dirham investment aimed at supporting the airline’s expanding workforce and long-term growth plans.
The mixed-use residential development will accommodate up to 12,000 cabin crew members and is being delivered through a long-term lease arrangement. The agreement was signed by senior executives from both organisations, underscoring the strategic importance of the project for Emirates and Dubai Investments Park.
Groundbreaking is scheduled for the second quarter of 2026, with the first phase expected to be completed by 2029. Once delivered, the village will comprise 20 contemporary residential towers, each 19 storeys high, offering a range of one, two and three-bedroom apartments designed around crew comfort and convenience.
Beyond housing, the development is planned as a fully integrated lifestyle destination. Amenities will include a central hub with retail outlets, restaurants and food concepts, alongside fitness facilities, clinics, landscaped parks and dedicated communal spaces. Walking trails, resort-style pools and green areas will be woven throughout the community to encourage an active outdoor lifestyle.
Each residential building will feature its own dedicated facilities, ensuring accessibility and ease of living for residents. The village is strategically located between Dubai International Airport and Dubai World Central, aligning with Emirates’ transition plans to Al Maktoum International Airport.
The project reinforces Emirates’ commitment to crew wellbeing while strengthening Dubai Investments Park’s position as a destination for large-scale, future-focused developments that contribute to Dubai’s broader economic and urban growth ambitions.
