Emirates, the worlds’ largest international airline, and Avianca, one of the largest Latin-American carriers, have launched a new codeshare partnership. The new partnership allows Emirates and Avianca customers to enjoy seamless connectivity on select routes.
Emirates passengers from Madrid, Barcelona, or London Heathrow can now fly directly to three Colombian cities via codeshare with Avianca, starting June 4th. Bookings are available on multiple platforms. Avianca customers will enjoy Emirates' amenities, while both airlines offer seamless connectivity, single-ticket booking, competitive fares, and unified baggage policy.

The codeshare agreement will enable us to expand our reach and allow our customers to use our services and fly to additional popular points in Colombia.”

Avianca's Chief Revenue Officer, Claudio Vélez, expressed satisfaction with the Emirates codeshare, highlighting enhanced connectivity, new destination access, and increased attraction to Latin America. This collaboration bolsters Avianca's operations in Europe. Emirates' vast network makes this partnership a testament to Avianca's excellence. Emirates already has commercial agreements with 161 partners.
