The 8th Emirates Dermatology Society Annual Conference 2024 is set to begin on November 8th at the InterContinental Dubai – Festival City Hotel.
This prestigious event will draw 500 doctors, including international and local specialists in dermatology, cosmetology, and laser treatments.
Dr. Muna Al Murrawi, President of the Emirates Dermatology Society and Chair of the Conference, announced that the three-day event will feature over 85 expert talks. The conference will cover a wide range of topics, including acne, skin cancer, hair and nail disorders, women’s health in dermatology, and the latest advancements in treatments such as hair transplantation and skin tumor therapies.
Dr. Al Murrawi emphasized the growing role of laser treatments in managing various skin conditions, including pigmentation issues, vitiligo, psoriasis, eczema, and more. She also highlighted the event’s focus on educating the local medical community about evidence-based international practices and sharing success stories in dermatology and aesthetics.
The conference will be accompanied by an exhibition featuring over 29 local and international companies showcasing cutting-edge technologies and devices for diagnosing and treating skin diseases, as well as cosmetic treatment techniques.
Speakers from around the world, including the USA, UK, Mexico, Spain, Italy, Singapore, India, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt, and the UAE, will contribute to the discussions, making this the largest dermatology event of its kind in the Middle East.
