Emirates is set to bolster its presence in Asia with the launch of new flights to Shenzhen, Da Nang, and Siem Reap, enhancing connectivity across the region.
Starting from July 1, 2025, Emirates will operate daily non-stop flights between Dubai and Shenzhen, making it the first Middle Eastern carrier to serve the Chinese tech hub. The airline will also introduce four weekly services to Da Nang, Vietnam, from June 2, and three weekly flights to Siem Reap, Cambodia, from June 3, both via Bangkok.
The expansion increases Emirates' East Asia network to 24 destinations, offering 269 flights per week from Dubai. Adnan Kazim, Emirates' Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, highlighted the strategic significance of the new routes in fostering economic exchange and strengthening cultural ties.
The Shenzhen service will feature Emirates' retrofitted Boeing 777-300ER, offering First Class suites, Business Class lie-flat seats, Premium Economy, and Economy cabins. The flight schedule is optimized for seamless connections to key destinations in Africa, Europe, and the Americas. Emirates SkyCargo will uplift 10 tonnes of cargo per flight, supporting the export of high-tech devices and e-commerce items from Shenzhen’s Special Economic Zone.
In Vietnam, the new Da Nang service marks Emirates' third gateway, aligning with the UAE-Vietnam Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA). The Siem Reap service will provide easier access to Angkor Wat, catering to leisure travellers from Europe and beyond.
Travellers can book tickets through emirates.com, the Emirates App, or via travel agents, with seamless multi-city journeys available through Emirates' codeshare and interline partners. The expansion reflects Emirates' commitment to enhancing global connectivity while offering premium onboard experiences and superior hospitality.
