Emirates is accelerating its fleet enhancement program, introducing upgraded Boeing 777 aircraft to eight additional destinations.
As part of its ambitious US$5 billion retrofit initiative, the airline is rolling out a refurbished aircraft every three weeks, aiming to serve 44 cities with modernized Boeing 777 and Airbus A380 aircraft by September 2025.
From June 2025, passengers flying to Lisbon, Dublin, Hong Kong, the Maldives, Kolkata, Colombo, Johannesburg, Cape Town, and London Stansted will experience the airline’s latest cabin enhancements. These upgrades include Emirates’ signature Premium Economy and refined Business Class cabins, designed to enhance privacy, comfort, and functionality.
Johannesburg and Cape Town will, for the first time, feature Premium Economy and refreshed Business Class cabins, reinforcing Emirates’ commitment to South Africa as a key market. Meanwhile, London Stansted will receive a second daily service with the upgraded Boeing 777 interiors.
Emirates’ revamped Boeing 777s boast a four-class configuration, including 24 Premium Economy seats and 260 Economy seats, alongside its signature Business Class in a 1-2-1 layout. These enhancements underscore the airline’s commitment to providing top-tier inflight experiences.
Tickets for the newly upgraded services are available on emirates.com, the Emirates App, and through travel agents worldwide.
