Emirates has launched a new interline partnership with Bahamasair, opening seamless travel connections to The Bahamas from its US gateways.
The move allows passengers to book a single ticket from Emirates’ global network to Nassau and Freeport via Miami or Orlando.
The partnership, formalized after a Memorandum of Understanding signed in June, simplifies travel by offering a single baggage policy and coordinated booking across both carriers. This collaboration strengthens Emirates’ presence in the Caribbean and enhances convenience for travelers seeking to explore the islands.
Miami and Orlando serve as key US hubs for Emirates, among its 12 destinations in the country. Passengers can now connect effortlessly to The Bahamas’ national airline, supporting smoother travel and broader network options.
Earlier this year, Emirates also signed a separate MoU with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of The Bahamas to promote tourism, highlighting a strategic focus on Caribbean destinations. The latest agreement underscores the airline’s commitment to expanding its footprint while enhancing customer experience through streamlined connections and travel benefits.
The partnership marks a significant step in Emirates’ efforts to offer comprehensive travel options for passengers across its global network, connecting luxury travel with the natural allure of The Bahamas.
