Dubai’s flagship carrier, Emirates, has announced the deployment of its newly retrofitted Boeing 777s on its second and third daily flights to Riyadh, enhancing connectivity and comfort for travelers.
The upgraded aircraft will operate on EK815 and EK816 from 30 March 2025, and on EK817 and EK818 starting 7 May 2025, with daily service commencing 11 August 2025.
This move makes Riyadh the first city in the Middle East/GCC to be exclusively served by Emirates’ latest refurbished Boeing 777s, underscoring the airline’s commitment to offering a superior onboard experience. Following strong customer demand and positive feedback, Emirates is expanding its premium cabin products, reinforcing its position as a global aviation leader.
The newly enhanced Boeing 777s feature Emirates’ Premium Economy seats in a 2-4-2 layout, a spacious 1-2-1 Business Class, and First Class suites, along with a refreshed Economy Class. These upgrades aim to redefine passenger comfort across all cabin classes.
Further elevating the premium experience, Emirates introduced its Chauffeur-Drive Service (CDS) in Riyadh in November 2024, offering First and Business Class travelers an exclusive door-to-door luxury transfer; a service unmatched by any other airline in the region.
Emirates currently operates 72 weekly flights to Saudi Arabia across four major gateways, utilizing a mix of Boeing 777s and A380s. Passengers can book tickets via emirates.com, the Emirates App, or travel agents.
