Emirates is enhancing its passenger experience by deploying next-generation Airbus A350s alongside retrofitted A380s and Boeing 777s featuring Premium Economy in Amman, Mumbai, Muscat, and Bahrain.
The move aims to offer a more consistent and elevated experience across its network.
From 26 October, Amman will see daily A380 services with refreshed interiors and Premium Economy on EK903/904. Mumbai will receive a retrofitted Boeing 777 on EK504/505 from the same date, providing the latest cabins on 22 weekly flights.
Muscat will benefit from Emirates’ signature A350 experience on all nine weekly flights starting 30 October, while Bahrain will have an additional retrofitted Boeing 777 on EK833/834 every Thursday from 4 December. Once fully deployed, Bahrain will be served exclusively with aircraft featuring Premium Economy and upgraded Business Class.
These expansions increase Premium Economy availability to over 635 weekly flights, with 68 cities served by the product by winter 2025. Emirates expects to offer more than 2 million Premium Economy seats by year-end, up from 1.8 million today.
The airline’s retrofit programme, one of the largest in aviation history, is advancing rapidly, with one aircraft refurbished every three weeks. So far, 67 aircraft have been updated, out of a planned 219, including 110 A380s and 109 Boeing 777s, while nine A350s currently operate to 15 destinations.
