Emirates has announced the introduction of its newly retrofitted Boeing 777 aircraft to Zurich and Riyadh, starting from 1st October 2024.
The move marks the debut of Emirates' Premium Economy in the Middle East and GCC region with flights EK 819 and EK 820 to Riyadh.
In addition to Zurich and Riyadh, Emirates will also add refurbished Boeing 777s to its operations in Geneva and Brussels. Geneva will become the first city in the airline’s network to offer Premium Economy and newly refreshed Business Class cabins on all flights, beginning 22nd September 2024, on flights EK 89 and EK 90.
Similarly, Brussels will receive the upgraded service starting 9th October 2024, with six weekly flights on EK 181 and EK 182.
With plans to introduce the upgraded B777s to 28 cities by the end of 2024, Emirates has already retrofitted 25 aircraft, with 17 more expected to undergo enhancements by December. The airline’s initiative underscores its commitment to offering a superior in-flight experience across its global network.
