Emirates is set to enhance its long-haul offering by introducing its award-winning Premium Economy cabin across all A380 flights to New York JFK from 1 December, while expanding the service to its Milan route from 10 November.
The upgrade means direct flights EK201/202 between Dubai and New York will feature four cabin classes, adding to EK203/204, which already operate with Premium Economy. Emirates’ daily services via Milan, EK205/206, will also join the network, giving passengers two daily options to book the popular cabin on the Dubai–Milan route.
The reconfigured A380s will include First Class, Business Class, Premium Economy and Economy, broadening choice for both business and leisure travellers. Tickets are now available through emirates.com, the Emirates App, travel agents, and Emirates retail outlets.
The move is part of the airline’s wider strategy to extend Premium Economy across its global network, which will reach 68 destinations by March 2026. Emirates already offers the four-class experience on key routes to Australasia and Asia, including Sydney, Singapore, and Mumbai.
The Premium Economy cabin features 56 seats in a 2-4-2 layout with wider pitch, in-seat charging, side cocktail tables, curated dining, and exclusive beverages such as Chandon Vintage Brut 2016, underscoring Emirates’ focus on delivering elevated comfort for long-haul travellers.
