Emirates is accelerating its multi-billion dollar aircraft refurbishment program and expanding its Premium Economy offering, while unlocking new loyalty rewards for Skywards members.
The Dubai-based carrier has already rolled out 67 refurbished aircraft — 32 Airbus A380s and 35 Boeing 777s — featuring the popular Premium Economy cabin. It has also welcomed nine new Airbus A350s equipped with the product, with 56 more A350s set to join its fleet. By March 2026, Emirates expects to serve 68 cities with Premium Economy, offering nearly two million seats annually and doubling that capacity by the end of the year.
Emirates Skywards, the airline’s loyalty programme with more than 35 million members, has introduced flight rewards for Premium Economy. Members can now redeem miles starting at 15,000 for one-way tickets or 7,020 miles for upgrades from Economy. The feature launches with Emirates flights and is planned to extend to partner airlines.
Premium Economy on Emirates offers leather seating, wider pitch, enhanced dining, and larger entertainment screens, drawing recognition as one of the best in its class. The product is currently available on flights to over 66 cities worldwide.
