Emirates has announced a five-year renewal of its partnership with Tennis Australia, extending its role as the Official Airline of the Australian Open until 2029.

This year marks a decade of collaboration, highlighting Emirates’ dedication to Australian sports and its ongoing commitment to the tennis community.

Starting in 2025, Emirates will expand its efforts beyond the Australian Open through a partnership with the Australian Tennis Foundation (ATF). Funded by the airline’s 'Force for Good' programme, Emirates will invest $2.25 million over five years to bring tennis opportunities to disadvantaged children and youth in five Australian cities. The initiative focuses on promoting physical and mental wellbeing, resilience, and teamwork through free tennis programs, aiming to foster a sense of belonging and inspire future tennis stars.

Barry Brown, Emirates’ Divisional Vice President Australasia, emphasized the airline’s long-standing commitment to Australia, saying,

“Our renewed partnership extends beyond the court to empower communities and support young talent.”

Tennis Australia CEO Craig Tiley celebrated the collaboration, noting,

“This partnership connects players and fans while making a meaningful impact on local communities.”

As part of its sponsorship, Emirates will continue to enhance fan experiences at the Australian Open with activities like the AO Ballpark and Emirates Day. The airline also connects tennis fans globally with extensive flight options and exclusive offers for Skywards members.

With nearly 30 years of service in Australia, Emirates remains a key player in fostering cultural and sporting connections, further solidifying its role in enriching Australian communities through sport and the arts.
