On August 28th, Emirates Health Services (EHS) hosted the "Collaborating for a Sustainable Healthy Tomorrow" forum at its Training and Development Center in Sharjah, celebrating Emirati Women’s Day.
The event, held under the directives of H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, aimed to highlight the remarkable achievements of Emirati women in the healthcare sector and their crucial role in the UAE's development.
The forum brought together EHS employees and featured inspiring Emirati women who have made significant contributions to healthcare.
Dr. Yousif Mohamed AlSerkal, Director-General of EHS, praised Emirati women for their exceptional successes, noting their leadership roles in various fields. He emphasized that their contributions are vital to the nation's progress, enhancing the UAE’s global standing.
Dr. Sara AlShaya, Director of the Data and Statistics Department at EHS, also highlighted the impressive milestones achieved by Emirati women in healthcare. She noted that their dedication and expertise have significantly advanced the sector, with many taking on leadership roles and overcoming challenges.
The event included a panel discussion moderated by Dr. Ameera Saif Al Khaja, featuring five distinguished Emirati women from diverse fields such as medicine, engineering, and nursing. A video presentation showcased the achievements of these women, emphasizing their role in advancing the high-quality services provided by EHS.
The forum concluded with an engaging competition segment for attendees, celebrating the ongoing contributions and future aspirations of Emirati women in healthcare.
