On Tuesday, the UAE's Federal Authority for Identity and Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security (ICP) released information about the latest Emirates ID registration form. The revamped form comes with a range of new features such as a fresh design, a QR code tracker, and a next steps section, among others.

The ICP shared a video regarding this update through its official Twitter account.

The registration form will be revamped to align with the Authority's visual identity. It will feature a section where applicants can upload their personal photo and a QR code that enables them to track their application status. A dedicated section will also be added to provide information on the next steps in the process. Moreover, the form will include a section for Emirates ID delivery company details, and a QR code for customers to provide feedback. Additionally, there will be a QR code that enables applicants to modify their biometric appointment date.

You have the option to apply for or renew your Emirates ID through the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICP) website, the ICP App, or through an accredited typing centre. Using the website is a fast process that takes just a few minutes. To apply, you need to register on the ICP website or sign in with the Green Pass, apply and pay the fees, provide your fingerprints and signature, issue your residency, and then receive your Emirates ID.
