Emirates Labour Market Award Second Edition Now Open for Applications
Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MoHRE) has announced that applications for the second edition of the Emirates Labour Market Award are now open. Private sector companies and individuals can submit their applications until 31st August 2024 via the website Riyada.mohre.gov.ae.
The Emirates Labour Market Award, a pioneering initiative, celebrates outstanding private sector companies and workers across the UAE, recognizing exemplary labour market practices in all economic sectors. This year, the award will honour 90 winners, an increase from 66 in the inaugural edition.
Ahmad Al Nasser, Assistant Under-Secretary of National Human Resources Development and Acting Assistant Under-Secretary for Policy and Strategy at MoHRE, highlighted the significant impact of the award's first edition, attributing its success to the unwavering support of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
“The exceptional results of the first edition have enhanced the award's status and inspired even greater participation for this year,”
he stated.
Al Nasser emphasized the opportunity for companies and individuals to showcase their achievements, promoting knowledge, enhancing expertise, and highlighting best practices in the labour market. The award aims to elevate business standards and boost competitiveness across the UAE's private sector.
The Emirates Labour Market Award is supported by leading UAE-based companies, reflecting the country's strong sense of social responsibility. Benefits for the first-place company winners include classification in MoHRE’s top category, service discounts, and financial savings of up to AED1.5 million. Second and third-place winners receive similar benefits, with financial savings of up to AED1 million and AED500,000, respectively. Additionally, all winning companies will be awarded MoHRE’s Diamond classification, granting priority in transaction processing, technical support, and premium call centre services.
Individual winners receive cash prizes: AED100,000 for first place, AED75,000 for second place, and AED50,000 for third place.
