Emirates has launched its Airbus A350 service to Oslo, introducing its award-winning Premium Economy offering to Scandinavia.
The airline celebrated the milestone with an exclusive event at Oslo Airport, highlighting its commitment to providing exceptional service in the Norwegian market.
The new A350 service marks a significant investment by Emirates in Norway, featuring its latest Business Class, Premium Economy, and Economy Class interiors. The upgrade aims to set a new benchmark for comfort and service across all cabins, catering to both business and leisure travellers.
Since 2014, Emirates’ daily flights between Dubai and Oslo have connected Norway to the UAE and its global network. The A350 will operate daily as EK159/160, offering seamless connections to 145 destinations worldwide, including popular routes to Asia and Australia.
The launch event was attended by senior Emirates executives, including Pierfrancesco Carino, VP Commercial Operations North and West Europe, and Terje Grue, Country Manager Norway. Officials from the UAE Embassy, Avinor, and Ullensaker Municipality were also present. Terje Grue emphasized that the new service enhances comfort and strengthens Emirates’ presence in Norway.
Premium Economy brings luxury travel within reach, with a 40-inch seat pitch, 8-inch recline, adjustable headrests, and full leg and footrests. Each seat features cream leather upholstery, fold-out woodgrain tables, in-seat charging, a 13.3-inch TV screen, amenity kits, and Chandon Vintage Brut 2017 sparkling wine.
Guests at the launch included travel partners and media representatives, who toured the aircraft and experienced the Premium Economy cabin firsthand. Emirates’ A350 arrival in Oslo marks a new era of comfort, service, and connectivity for Norwegian travellers.
