Emirates will introduce a daily nonstop service between Helsinki and Dubai from 1 October 2026, marking the first year-round direct air link between Finland and the UAE and strengthening the airline’s presence across the Nordic region.
The new route will be operated by Emirates’ latest-generation A350 aircraft, bringing the carrier’s newest cabin products, including its Premium Economy offering, to Finland from the inaugural flight. The service is designed to meet growing demand for direct connectivity between the two markets while enhancing travel options for both leisure and corporate passengers.
Flight EK167 will depart Dubai at 08:45, arriving in Helsinki at 14:55. The return service, EK168, will leave Helsinki at 16:45 and land in Dubai at 00:20 the following day. The schedule has been optimised to support seamless onward connections across Emirates’ global network, including key destinations in East and Southeast Asia, Australia, Africa, the Middle East, and the Indian Ocean.
Emirates Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer Adnan Kazim said the route reflects strong existing demand and is expected to attract new travellers seeking direct, premium travel options. He also highlighted Finland’s appeal as a destination for tourism, trade, and business.
The new service will further support growing bilateral ties between the UAE and Finland, particularly in advanced technology, renewable energy, and digital transformation. Emirates SkyCargo will also provide up to 16 tonnes of bellyhold capacity per flight, supporting trade in high-value and time-sensitive goods.
Tickets are now available for booking through Emirates and authorised travel agents.
