Emirates has been awarded the title of ‘Best Airline in the World’ at the prestigious ULTRAs 2024 Awards, solidifying its reputation for exceptional service, innovation, and value for money.

The airline received this recognition from thousands of global travellers, who praised its world-class products and ‘fly better’ experiences. Emirates also took home over 20 other awards this year, including the ‘World Best Airline’ title from Telegraph Travel.

The ULTRAs, hosted by Ultratravel magazine with a global circulation of 1.2 million, are among the most respected in the travel industry, with winners determined by votes from affluent travellers worldwide. Emirates’ award was presented to Thierry Aucoc, Senior Vice President Commercial Operations, and Jabr Al-Azeeby, Divisional Vice President in the UK, at a ceremony in London’s Kensington Palace.

Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates, expressed his delight, attributing the airline’s success to continued investments in customer service, product development, and technology. Emirates’ extensive US$ 4 billion retrofit programme, which has seen the rollout of eight refurbished aircraft, further enhances the travel experience for its customers.

Emirates’ commitment to innovation extends beyond aircraft. The airline recently expanded its network with new routes to Bogotá and Madagascar, and also introduced new premium lounges in key locations such as London Stansted and Jeddah.

In addition to the ULTRAs recognition, Emirates recently received accolades at the Forbes Travel Guide’s Air Travel Awards, including ‘Best International Airline’ and ‘Best Culinary Programme.’ With its growing fleet of Boeing 777 and A380 aircraft, Emirates continues to offer unmatched comfort, hospitality, and entertainment in the sky.
