Emirates has been named the “World’s Best Airline” among 90 global carriers in a recent study conducted by Telegraph Travel, highlighting its exceptional service and performance.
The rankings were based on over 30 criteria, including punctuality, baggage allowance, route network, and the quality of in-flight meals. The evaluation incorporated data from more than 18 independent awards, reader polls, and expert reviews.
The study praised Emirates as a “worthy winner,” noting its impressive track record across various categories. It highlighted the airline's operation of the largest fleet of double-decker Airbus A380s, which offer spacious seating and comfort in all cabins, particularly in its premium economy class. The airline's business class service includes a unique chauffeur service, enhancing the travel experience, while its first-class cabin is renowned for having the finest wine selection and onboard showers.
With a vast route network spanning 140 cities in 77 countries, Emirates also earned the title of the best long-haul carrier, as voted by 30,000 Telegraph Travel readers. The independent methodology employed in the study awarded points based on various performance indicators, including reliability, connectivity, luggage policies, and inflight experiences.
In 2024 alone, Emirates has garnered an impressive 19 additional awards and recognitions from various international sources, further solidifying its position as a leader in the aviation industry.
