Emirates NBD has approved a cash dividend of AED 1 per ordinary share for the 2025 financial year, reinforcing the Group’s strong performance and confidence in its growth trajectory as it enters 2026.

The decision was endorsed at the Group’s 19th General Assembly meeting, with total dividend distributions amounting to AED 6.32 billion. Shareholders registered in the Bank’s shareholders register at the close of trading on 27 February 2026 will be eligible to receive the payout.

During the meeting, Chairman Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum presented a review of the Group’s 2025 performance, describing the year as one of sustained progress for both the Group and the wider economy of the United Arab Emirates and Dubai. He highlighted Emirates NBD’s role in financing strategic sectors, supporting businesses, expanding trade flows, and developing national talent.

Looking ahead, Sheikh Ahmed said the Group will accelerate growth across its regional network, with a particular focus on strengthening strategic investments in India and consolidating its presence in high-potential markets. A major priority will be advancing the next phase of AI-enabled transformation to enhance customer experience, strengthen risk management, and unlock new sources of value.

The Assembly also approved special resolutions related to debt instrument and funding programmes, alongside the Board’s report, audited financial statements, and remuneration proposals. Ernst & Young Middle East was appointed as auditor for 2026.

In addition, shareholders approved a draft plan to merge the Bank’s branches in India with RBL Bank should Emirates NBD acquire a majority stake, subject to regulatory approvals in India.
