Emirates NBD posted a robust AED 36.7 billion income for the first nine months of 2025, marking a 12% year-on-year increase driven by record lending and healthy deposit growth.

The Group’s operating profit rose 10% to AED 25.5 billion, while profit before tax climbed 6% to AED 23.4 billion despite lower recoveries in the third quarter.

Lending surged by an unprecedented AED 99 billion, up 19%, reflecting strong domestic and international demand. Deposits grew by AED 94 billion, supported by a AED 56 billion rise in low-cost Current and Savings Accounts. Emirates Islamic also delivered record performance, reporting AED 3.2 billion profit before tax, underscoring its growing influence in Islamic finance.

The bank’s expansion strategy gained momentum with the signing of a Share Subscription Agreement with India’s RBL Bank Limited on October 18, 2025. The AED 3.0 billion deal will give Emirates NBD a 60% stake in RBL Bank, strengthening its presence in a key growth market. The transaction is expected to conclude by mid-2026, pending regulatory approval.

Emirates NBD continues to invest in digital innovation and sustainable finance, with its Digital Wealth platform boosting Group Assets Under Management to USD 53 billion. The bank also led UAE IPOs this year through Emirates NBD Capital and maintained its position as the region’s top credit card issuer.

Vice Chairman and Managing Director Hesham Abdulla Al Qassim said the results highlight the Group’s strong market position and continued investment in technology and customer-centric services, reinforcing Emirates NBD’s role as a leading regional financial powerhouse.
