Emirates NBD Named ‘Bank of the Year in the UAE 2024’ and ‘Best Private Bank in the UAE’

Emirates NBD, a leading banking group in the MENAT region, has been honored with two prestigious titles at The Banker’s 2024 Awards: ‘Bank of the Year in the UAE 2024’ and ‘Best Private Bank in the UAE’.

The recognition as ‘Bank of the Year in the UAE’ highlights Emirates NBD’s leadership in the competitive banking sector. The bank reported a record profit of AED 19 billion in the first nine months of 2024 and expanded its international footprint with nine new branches in Saudi Arabia, taking its total to 21 across 10 cities. The bank’s focus on innovation, including AI-driven software development and a modernized core banking system, has further solidified its position as a customer-centric financial leader.

Emirates NBD’s digital transformation efforts were applauded, notably its launch of the ENBD X wealth platform in 2023, offering a range of financial instruments to over 1.4 million mobile app users. The bank’s commitment to sustainability was also recognized, with milestones such as improved ESG ratings, a USD 750 million Green Bond issuance, and a robust ESG Risk Management Framework.

As ‘Best Private Bank in the UAE’, Emirates NBD was commended for its bespoke investment solutions, superior advisory services, and customer-focused banking experiences.

The accolades add to Emirates NBD’s growing list of achievements, including multiple Euromoney Awards for Excellence and honors at the Bonds, Loans & Sukuk Middle East Awards 2024. These achievements underscore the bank’s dedication to innovation, sustainability, and excellence, reinforcing its leadership in the financial sector.
