Emirates has unveiled its new Emirates Centre of Hospitality Excellence in Dubai, a state-of-the-art facility designed to elevate cabin crew training and redefine in-flight service.
The USD 8 million centre will train nearly 25,000 crew members in luxury hospitality, with over 10,000 expected to complete programs by the end of 2025.
The facility spans elegant presentation kitchens, eight tech-enabled classrooms, and a restaurant and lounge accommodating up to 170 guests. Training programs are modelled on Michelin-star standards, focusing on fine dining, premium guest engagement, and service finesse.
Thomas Ney, Emirates’ DSVP of Service Delivery, highlighted the investment in immersive training:
“We empower world-class cabin crew by allowing them to personally experience the cuisine, beverages, and ambiance that define Emirates’ hospitality.”
Cabin crew will partake in curated fine dining experiences, receiving gourmet four-course meals from Emirates’ master chefs. Practical sessions in the purpose-built culinary hub teach plating techniques, balancing aesthetics with flavor to deliver visually stunning dishes onboard.
The centre also hosts the Art of Service and L’art du Vin programs. These courses go beyond technical skills, emphasizing emotional intelligence, attentive service, and wine expertise, enabling crew to create personalised, memorable experiences for passengers.
The Emirates Centre of Hospitality Excellence complements the airline’s existing training infrastructure, including the recently launched Crew Zone at Emirates Group Headquarters, which offers workshops, wellness services, and 24/7 support. Recruited from over 140 countries, Emirates’ cabin crew are trained in both theoretical and practical modules, ensuring world-class service across its fleet.
The airline continues to recruit globally, offering aspiring cabin crew the chance to join a team recognised for its exceptional safety, service, and hospitality standards.
