The Emirates Airline Foundation has announced a powerful new initiative to double the impact of global giving by matching every donation it receives—regardless of currency—up to a total of US$10,000.
The move strengthens Emirates’ long-standing mission to support underprivileged children across the globe. The Foundation now works with 13 community organisations and non-profits in nine countries, focusing on essential needs such as food, healthcare, shelter, and education.
“With global challenges increasingly affecting the world’s most vulnerable communities, it is more important than ever to protect children’s basic needs,”
said Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates and Chairman of the Emirates Airline Foundation.
“This initiative reflects our unwavering commitment to breaking the cycle of poverty and ensuring that every child has a chance to be nourished, educated, and empowered.”
The donation-matching campaign is part of Emirates’ broader effort to promote philanthropy and aligns with the UAE’s 2025 “Year of the Community” initiative, which aims to create lasting social impact and foster a culture of shared responsibility.
Supporters can contribute through various channels, including online donations, in-flight contributions, bank transfers, and cheques. Every donation will be matched, effectively doubling its value and reach.
For over two decades, the Emirates Airline Foundation has helped transform thousands of young lives. This latest move reinforces its ongoing commitment to safeguarding children’s well-being and building a brighter, more equitable future.
