Dubai-based aviation giant Emirates has launched Emirates Courier Express, a cutting-edge end-to-end delivery solution designed to revolutionize the express shipping industry.
Backed by nearly 40 years of logistics expertise, the service promises speed, reliability, and flexibility for businesses worldwide.
To ensure optimal performance, Emirates collaborated with global customers to refine the product, addressing key industry challenges before its official launch. Over the past year, Emirates Courier Express has successfully transported thousands of packages across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, South Africa, and the UK, with an average delivery time of under 48 hours. Now, the service is officially open for businesses seeking fast and seamless logistics solutions.
Badr Abbas, Divisional Senior Vice President at Emirates SkyCargo, emphasized the service’s transformative approach:
“Emirates Courier Express is an evolution in how we move goods across the globe, at speed and at scale. By reimagining traditional logistics, we are setting a new benchmark in express delivery.”
Unlike conventional hub-and-spoke logistics models, Emirates Courier Express enables direct shipment from origin to destination, leveraging the airline’s extensive global network and frequent flights. This streamlined approach minimizes transit time, reduces handling, and provides a competitive edge to customers. The service offers multiple options, including next-day urgent delivery and a two-day premium service, with further innovations in the pipeline.
At launch, Emirates Courier Express operates in seven markets, with plans for rapid expansion wherever Emirates flies. With access to over 250 widebody aircraft and a robust network of partners handling customs clearance and last-mile delivery, the service ensures door-to-door efficiency, even for sensitive shipments such as medical equipment and high-value electronics.
Emirates Courier Express is entirely digital, integrating seamlessly into customer systems with real-time tracking and advanced analytics for complete transparency.
Dennis Lister, Senior Vice President of Product and Innovation at Emirates SkyCargo, highlighted the company’s ambition:
“We challenged ourselves to find a better way to move goods faster and more efficiently. This launch underscores our commitment to continuous innovation in express delivery.”
With its world-class infrastructure and commitment to efficiency, Emirates Courier Express is poised to set new standards in global logistics.
