Emirates, the world’s largest international airline, has expanded its global presence with the unveiling of its Emirates World store in Cairo, Egypt.
Located at the upscale 5A WaterWay, the new store marks a significant milestone in the airline's customer-focused retail strategy, offering an elevated experience with product showcases, cutting-edge technologies, and expert travel advice.
The store’s inauguration was led by Adnan Kazim, Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, alongside Adil Al Ghaith, Senior Vice President Commercial Operations, Centre. Distinguished guests included Her Excellency Mariam Al Kaabi, UAE Ambassador, and key figures from Egypt’s aviation and tourism sectors.
Kazim expressed pride in the launch, stating,
“Egypt was one of our first destinations, and we’re thrilled to enhance our offering here with Emirates World.”
The store’s 332m² space embodies Emirates' signature inflight experience, featuring a full-size Emirates A380 Onboard Lounge and First Class suite display. Customers can access personalized services from expert consultants at nine dedicated counters, covering travel planning, reservations, and general inquiries.
Smart technologies, including a ‘selfie mirror’ for photos against scenic backdrops, add an interactive touch, while self-service kiosks expedite customer service.
Emirates’ longstanding commitment to Egypt spans nearly four decades, with over 10.6 million passengers flown since its first flight in 1986. The airline currently operates four daily flights to Cairo and has created significant local employment, with over 920 Egyptian nationals serving as cabin crew.
The Emirates World store underscores the airline’s continued dedication to connecting with customers and enhancing their travel experience through innovation and personalized service.
