Emirates has announced the launch of its upgraded Boeing 777 aircraft, featuring enhanced cabin interiors and new seating options across key routes.
The airline revealed that Geneva, Tokyo Haneda, and Brussels will be the first cities to experience the revamped aircraft, with bookings opening today.
Passengers can look forward to Emirates' signature Premium Economy class, debuting on the Boeing 777, alongside a redesigned Business Class featuring a spacious 1-2-1 configuration aimed at enhancing comfort and privacy. Adnan Kazim, Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates Airline, expressed enthusiasm about introducing these acclaimed products to more destinations within their network.
Scheduled to commence from August 11th, Emirates flights to Geneva will be followed by Tokyo Haneda from September 1st and Brussels from September 11th. The refurbishment process, set to begin July 1st, will include upgrades to First Class, installation of new Business Class and Premium Economy seats, and enhancements across Economy Class.
Emirates' new Business Class seats promise increased privacy and comfort with flat-bed capabilities, wider seating, and personalized entertainment options via a 23-inch HD screen. Additionally, the aircraft will feature amenities inspired by the flagship A380, including a dedicated onboard bar and thoughtful cabin finishes.
With plans to retrofit 81 Boeing 777s and a substantial investment aimed at enhancing passenger experience, Emirates reaffirms its commitment to delivering unparalleled service across its fleet. Future announcements are expected to expand Premium Economy offerings to over 36 cities by February 2025, leveraging new additions to their fleet, including the A350.
