As the 2024-25 NBA season approaches, Emirates Airlines, the Official Global Airline Partner of the NBA and inaugural title partner of the Emirates NBA Cup, has unveiled an eye-catching, full nose-to-tail livery dedicated to the league.

The new design features a vibrant blue gradient across the fuselage, prominently displaying the NBA logo alongside Emirates’ reimagined red lettering. The aircraft’s striking look is completed with red engine cowls showcasing the Emirates logo in white calligraphy.

The Emirates-NBA A380 livery was a meticulous 24-day project executed by the airline's in-house Engineering Aircraft Appearance Centre, involving stripping, painting, and graphic application.

From November 1 to December 17, passengers traveling to and from 14 locations in the U.S. and Canada will enjoy an array of NBA-inspired products and services on board. Features include co-branded headrests, drinks served on custom coasters, and courtside-themed menus. Sports-inspired dishes and drinks will be available in all cabin classes, along with live broadcasts of select Emirates NBA Cup games on Sport24, Emirates’ inflight entertainment system.

In addition, Emirates lounges at key airports, including Dubai, New York JFK, and Los Angeles, will offer a limited-time NBA-themed menu.

Boutros Boutros, Emirates’ Executive Vice President of Corporate Communications, stated,

“The new livery celebrates our partnership with the NBA and the game that unites fans globally. We look forward to inspiring and delighting our customers with unique onboard experiences.”

The Emirates NBA Cup kicks off on November 12, featuring a doubleheader on TNT, with the tournament continuing through December 17 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. For more details, visit the Emirates NBA Cup website.
