Emirates has been named Best Airline in the World for the eighth year in a row at the ULTRAs travel awards in Dubai, reinforcing its position as one of the industry’s leading international carriers.
More than 1.2 million travellers from Ultratravel’s global network voted in this year’s awards. Emirates also secured the title of Airline with the Best Premium Economy Class, while Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airline, received a Lifetime Achievement Award for Services to Global Aviation.
Clark said the recognition reflects the airline’s commitment to delivering a superior travel experience through ongoing investment in its products and services. He highlighted efforts that include expanding the global network, upgrading aircraft as part of a multibillion dollar retrofit programme, enhancing cabin crew hospitality training and adopting technology designed to streamline the passenger journey.
Emirates was recognised for its customer experience and extensive global reach to more than 150 destinations. The airline’s fleet, which includes Airbus A380s, A350s and Boeing 777s, supports a wide range of premium offerings such as private suites, onboard lounges, shower spas, regionally inspired dining and entertainment with more than 6,500 channels.
Its Premium Economy cabin, which earned global praise and several industry awards, remains the only one of its kind offered by a regional airline. The product features dedicated check in, spacious cream leather seats, enhanced dining and a curated wine list, and is available across 61 cities.
The accolades follow a strong year for Emirates, which also earned multiple international and regional honours across service, cabins, lounges and loyalty programmes.
