Emirates closed 2025 with a new set of global honours after securing five major awards at the 32nd annual World Travel Awards in Bahrain, reinforcing its standing as one of the world’s leading airline brands.

The Dubai carrier was recognised as the World's Leading Airline Brand for 2025, along with titles for its inflight entertainment system ice, its First Class product, its First Class Lounge at Dubai International Airport, and its Skywards loyalty programme. The wins add to more than 20 accolades Emirates collected throughout the year.

The latest recognition follows a strong November performance when Emirates was voted Best Airline in the World for the eighth consecutive year at the ULTRAs. Travellers also named it the Airline with the Best Premium Economy Class, and Sir Tim Clark received a Lifetime Achievement Award for Services to Global Aviation.

Industry bodies across regions echoed the sentiment. Emirates earned Best First Class of the Year and Airline of the Year from Aviation Business Middle East, along with top honours from the Forbes Travel Guide Verified Air Travel Awards for best international airline services.

Further acclaim came from The Times and The Sunday Times Travel Awards, which named Emirates the Best Long-Haul Airline, while the Wings Club Foundation honoured Sir Tim Clark with a Distinguished Achievement Award.

Earlier in the year, the airline won accolades across multiple platforms, including The Telegraph Travel Awards, YouGov’s ranking of 2025’s Most Recommended Global Brand, and several categories at the Business Traveller Middle East Awards, continuing its long-running record of industry leadership.
