The Dubai Press Club has announced the 10th edition of the Emirati Media Forum, set to take place on 28th October at the Museum of the Future in Dubai under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

The event will gather UAE media heads, editors-in-chief, prominent writers, opinion leaders, content creators, and digital influencers for discussions shaping the future of the nation’s media landscape.

Since its launch in 2013, the Forum has served as a key platform for dialogue on the UAE’s media development, fostering collaboration, promoting professional standards, and strengthening the global competitiveness of Emirati media.

This year’s edition will focus on the impact of regional and global developments on the UAE’s media, the role of national media in countering misinformation, and the empowerment of youth and content creators to highlight the country’s achievements internationally. Discussions will also examine the sector’s adoption of digital transformation and modern technologies to deliver impactful content.

Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council, emphasized the Forum’s role in promoting an agile and creative media sector capable of responding to rapid global changes. She highlighted its importance in safeguarding national achievements and communicating the UAE’s message with credibility and impact.

Maryam Al Mulla, Director of the Dubai Press Club, noted that the Forum has consistently brought together leaders to discuss emerging challenges and the future direction of the UAE’s media. She added that the event aims to foster innovation, harness technology and artificial intelligence, and strengthen the regional and global standing of the nation’s media sector.

Building on a decade of dialogue and collaboration, the 10th Emirati Media Forum is set to reaffirm the UAE’s commitment to a forward-looking, globally influential media landscape.
