ENOC Group Achieves AED 395 Million in Energy Savings, Mitigating 703,840 Metric Tonnes of GHG Emissions

ENOC Group has marked a significant milestone in its sustainability journey, recording remarkable success in energy reduction through its Energy & Resource Management (E&RM) efforts across its operations.

Over the past decade, the Group saved a total of AED 395 million in energy costs, while mitigating 703,840 metric tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions from 2014 to 2024.

The Group’s commitment to environmental responsibility is further demonstrated through its participation in Earth Hour 2025. On March 22nd, ENOC joined millions globally in observing the event by switching off non-essential lights at its headquarters, operational facilities, and service stations from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM, highlighting the urgency of collective action to tackle environmental challenges.

Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO of ENOC, emphasized the importance of Earth Hour in raising awareness about sustainable development. He stated,

“ENOC remains steadfast in its commitment to promoting sustainable initiatives and optimising energy consumption in the UAE and beyond.”

In 2024, ENOC’s business units delivered substantial savings through targeted energy efficiency measures. The ENOC Processing Company (EPCL) led the charge, saving AED 2.31 million, while the Retail unit's integration of Solar PV LED Lights across various sites resulted in savings of AED 3.12 million. Additionally, ENOC's Corporate Real Estate (CRE) and Emirates Gas contributed AED 539,448 and AED 139,409 in savings, respectively.

ENOC’s sustainability efforts also include the implementation of solar energy systems, LED lighting, and advanced water management solutions, reflecting the Group's commitment to reducing energy demand and emissions across its operations and supply chain.
