ENOC Group, a leading global energy player, has been honored with the World of Safety and Health Asia (WSHAsia) Award 2024 in the Environmental Sustainability category.

This accolade highlights ENOC’s commitment to sustainability through its innovative "Service Station of the Future," located at the Dubai Expo 2020 site.

The Service Station of the Future has achieved a landmark status as the world's first service station to receive LEED Platinum certification. This recognition underscores its excellence in energy savings, water efficiency, and CO2 emissions reduction. The station employs biomimicry principles, utilizing materials inspired by biological entities to enhance sustainability.

His Excellency Saif Humaid Al Falasi, Group CEO of ENOC, remarked,

“Sustainability is at the core of our mission. Our award-winning Service Station of the Future exemplifies our dedication to innovation and aligns with the UAE’s Energy Strategy 2050.”

The WSHAsia Award recognizes advancements in environmental sustainability within the Occupational Safety and Health industry. ENOC's Service Station of the Future integrates multiple energy sources, including 283 solar photovoltaic panels and a 25-meter wind turbine, producing a combined 152.7MWh of renewable energy annually.

This forward-thinking project not only reflects ENOC's commitment to clean energy but also plays a pivotal role in the UAE’s economic growth and diversification. Since its unveiling, the Service Station of the Future has garnered acclaim from numerous global and local organizations for its groundbreaking design and sustainability features.
