ENOC Group and Amazon UAE have announced a strategic partnership aimed at reshaping the retail landscape in the UAE through technology-driven customer experiences.
The agreement, formalized through a memorandum of understanding, will combine ENOC’s extensive retail network with Amazon’s advanced logistics and digital retail capabilities.
Under the collaboration, Amazon plans to leverage ENOC’s nationwide infrastructure to establish faster and more efficient delivery networks. Existing ENOC sites will be repurposed as micro-fulfilment hubs to bring products closer to customers, reduce delivery distances, and ease urban traffic congestion—all while supporting the country’s sustainability goals.
The partnership also explores introducing Amazon’s Just Walk Out technology at select ENOC ZOOM convenience stores, allowing shoppers to make purchases without stopping at checkout counters. In addition, ENOC products will soon be available on Amazon.ae, marking the brand’s first foray into direct online retail.
Hussain Sultan Lootah, Acting CEO of ENOC Group, said the collaboration “enhances convenience and efficiency while reshaping how customers shop,” reinforcing ENOC’s commitment to the UAE’s retail innovation.
Ronaldo Mouchawar, Vice President of Amazon Middle East, Africa, and Turkey, highlighted the partnership as a step toward “delivering faster, smarter shopping experiences that fit seamlessly into customers’ lifestyles,” aligning with the UAE’s digital transformation goals.
Further details of the joint initiatives are expected to be revealed in the coming months as the two companies work to redefine retail convenience and connectivity across the UAE.
