Preparations are in full swing for Expand North Star, the world’s largest event for global startups and investors, set to take place from October 13-16 at Dubai Harbour.
Organized by the Dubai World Trade Centre and hosted by the Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy, the highly anticipated event will gather top founders, investors, entrepreneurs, and corporate innovators from around the world. The event is expected to drive new growth opportunities and shape the future of Dubai's digital economy.
This year's edition will feature an estimated 1,200 vetted, invite-only investors and 1,800 late-stage startups from over 100 countries—marking a record for global startup events. New investors from major global funds, along with representatives from Azerbaijan, Mauritius, and other emerging markets, will be present. For the first time, delegations from countries like Austria, Canada, Singapore, and more will showcase their innovative startups.
In 2023, the event attracted 33,060 attendees, 1,604 startups from 91 countries, and 52 unicorn companies. Investors managing assets worth over $1 trillion participated.
The Dubai Chamber of Digital Economy views Expand North Star as crucial to solidifying Dubai's position as a global hub for innovation, aligning with the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33) to foster sustainable economic growth and digital transformation.
