Expo City Dubai has appointed local contractor Engineering Contracting Company (ECC) to lead construction of Sidr Residences, a premium residential development scheduled for completion in 2027.
The project features three interconnected towers, two rising 15 floors and one 13 floors, comprising 421 apartments, lofts, and townhouses with one to four bedrooms. Sidr Residences is part of Expo City Dubai’s expanding residential portfolio, which also includes Expo Valley, Mangrove Residences, Sky Residences, and Al Waha Residences.
Ahmed Al Khatib, Chief Development and Delivery Officer at Expo City Dubai, emphasized that Sidr Residences reflects the city’s vision for a sustainable and connected urban environment. He noted that partnering with a trusted local contractor like ECC ensures high standards of quality and timely delivery.
Nedal Ihsun, General Director of ECC, described the development as a blend of smart, eco-conscious design and walkable urban living. He highlighted the company’s commitment to delivering a project that exemplifies excellence and forward-looking urban design in Dubai.
Sidr Residences will offer modern living with community-focused amenities, aiming to set a benchmark for sustainable urban lifestyles. Strategically located between Dubai and Abu Dhabi, Expo City provides direct access to Al Maktoum International Airport, Jebel Ali Port, and the Dubai Exhibition Centre.
The development aligns with Dubai’s 2040 Urban Master Plan and contributes to the Dubai Economic Agenda (D33), reinforcing Expo City’s role as a central hub in the emirate’s long-term growth strategy.
