The Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) announced that federal government employees have completed 8,284,000 self-service HR procedures through the "Bayanati" information management system since its launch in 2013. This milestone was reached by the end of the first half of this year.
Laila Obaid Al Suwaidi, Director-General of FAHR, emphasized the significance of the self-service system, noting that it has streamlined HR processes for federal employees and departments, enabling them to manage their HR needs independently and efficiently.
Over 11 years, more than 8,284,000 procedures were completed, with 436,000 recorded in the first half of 2024 alone. This was achieved through the new "Bayanati" UXUI and the FAHR smart application.
Launched in 2014, the FAHR smart application has been continually updated to incorporate the latest technology, enhancing its service offerings. It has facilitated approximately 1,033,000 self-service HR procedures and has been downloaded over 190,000 times. The app allows employees to manage their HR tasks around the clock from any location globally.
Currently, 49 ministries and federal entities use the "Bayanati" system, with an additional 18 entities linked to it.
Asem Al Awadhi, Director of the Human Resources Information System Department at FAHR, highlighted the application's role in providing a unified platform for completing HR tasks via mobile devices, reducing the need for in-person visits to HR departments.
FAHR continues to innovate, with recent updates including enhanced features for managing individual development plans and expanded leave requests. The application supports various services, such as e-signatures for ministerial contracts, performance evaluations, and electronic labour cards, all designed to simplify HR processes for federal employees.
