Dubai’s philanthropic spirit has once again taken center stage as the Fathers’ Endowment campaign, launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, raises over AED3.304 billion in contributions since its inception.
Honoring fathers in the UAE, the initiative aims to establish a sustainable endowment fund dedicated to providing treatment and healthcare for those in need. The overwhelming response, with 160,560 contributors, highlights the UAE’s deeply ingrained culture of giving and its commitment to sustainable humanitarian efforts.
Mohammad Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Secretary-General of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI), praised the campaign’s record-breaking success, noting that it reflects the impact of Sheikh Mohammed’s Ramadan initiatives in fostering a spirit of generosity and strengthening the UAE’s position as a global leader in humanitarian work.
The campaign continues to welcome donations through various channels, including the official website (Fathersfund.ae), a toll-free call center (800 4999), SMS donations, bank transfers, and digital platforms such as DubaiNow and Jood.ae.
This initiative not only honors fathers but also creates a lasting legacy of compassion and support, ensuring access to medical care for vulnerable communities worldwide.
