The Fazaa programme has launched a new family-focused initiative in partnership with the Ministry of Family, reinforcing the UAE’s commitment to strengthening Emirati families as part of the National Family Growth Agenda 2031 and the Year of Family 2026.
Announced during the World Governments Summit 2026, the initiative is designed to support the growth, stability, and cohesion of Emirati households through a comprehensive package of practical benefits and services that ease financial pressures and enhance quality of life.
A memorandum of understanding was signed between the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Family in the presence of Lieutenant General H.H. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, and Sana bint Mohammed Suhail, Minister of Family. The signing was attended by Hessa Abdulrahman Tahlak, Assistant Undersecretary for the Development Sector at the Ministry of Family, and Ahmed Buharoon, Director General of Fazaa.
Tahlak said the partnership represents a strategic step toward strengthening family identity and creating a more supportive, sustainable environment through proactive and needs-driven empowerment. She added that improving family wellbeing requires integrated solutions that translate national strategies into tangible support.
Buharoon noted that the initiative reflects Fazaa’s societal role, with a focus on encouraging family time, recognising the role of mothers, and promoting the concept of large families in line with national objectives.
Under the agreement, special memberships carrying the logos of the Ministry of Family and the Year of Family will be introduced, with categories based on family size and needs. Silver Memberships will serve newly formed families with no children, Gold for families with one to three children, and Platinum for families with four or more children or those including a Person of Determination.
Members will gain access to benefits across housing, healthcare, daily necessities, leisure, and mobility, with more than 34,000 participating outlets in the UAE and abroad.
