The Federal Tax Authority (FTA) has earned global recognition for its commitment to ethical operations, receiving the prestigious Corporate Ethical Procurement and Supply Award from the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS).
This marks a historic achievement as the FTA becomes the first global tax authority to win this award two consecutive times.
In addition to the award, the FTA has been listed in the Global Corporate Ethics Register, further solidifying its reputation as a leader in the taxation sector. The Authority’s procurement team also received the Ethics Mark Badge, underscoring their adherence to the highest professional and ethical standards.
Khalid Ali Al Bustani, Director-General of the FTA, highlighted the significance of this accomplishment, stating,
“Securing this international certification reflects our commitment to aligning with ethical best practices in procurement and supply chain management.”
He emphasized that this recognition strengthens trust in the FTA’s operations and reinforces the Authority’s dedication to developing its human capital to meet the highest standards.
The award, presented at the FTA’s Dubai headquarters by CIPS Group CEO Ben Farrell MBE, followed a rigorous evaluation of the Authority’s procurement and ethical practices. Farrell commended the FTA for its transparency and commitment to maintaining credibility, integrity, and excellence in all its operations.
This accolade marks another milestone in the FTA’s efforts to uphold the highest governance standards and solidifies its position as a key player on both the regional and international stages.
