The Federal Youth Authority (FYA) has unveiled a series of initiatives under the theme “Youth Shaping Tomorrow’s Economy” to empower Emirati youth in entrepreneurship and strengthen their role in building a globally competitive economy.

The announcement, made at Creators HQ in Dubai by the UAE Government Media Office, is part of “The Emirates: The Startup Capital of the World” campaign launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai. The campaign aims to cement the UAE’s status as a leading global hub for innovation and entrepreneurship.

Dr. Sultan Al Neyadi, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, said the campaign reflects the leadership’s vision to equip young Emiratis with the tools to build a sustainable economic future.

“The UAE believes that true investment begins with its people, and youth are the drivers of economic transformation,”

he stated.

The initiatives include the Entrepreneurs Roadshow, a national tour engaging over 5,000 youth across all emirates, and the Young Entrepreneurs Forum, the UAE’s largest entrepreneurship gathering. Other highlights include workshops on cultural product design, innovation labs, and mentorship programmes through Youth Hub incubators.

Registration has also opened for the Done by Youth label, which recognises Emirati-led projects and builds investor confidence in youth-driven ventures.

Khaled Al Nuaimi, Director of the FYA, said the programmes are designed to equip young entrepreneurs with practical skills, professional networks, and resources to turn ideas into scalable businesses. He emphasised that these initiatives embody the UAE’s commitment to fostering a culture of innovation and preparing its youth to lead the nation’s next economic chapter.
