The Financial Audit Authority (FAA) is set to participate in the 44th edition of GITEX Global 2024, taking place from October 14 to 18 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
This participation aligns with the Authority’s strategic initiatives to adopt cutting-edge technologies and enhance auditing frameworks.
At the event, the FAA will unveil three innovative digital services aimed at improving the management of public funds. A highlight is the Al Mo’ashir Dashboard, a central platform that delivers comprehensive analyses and insights derived from the FAA’s auditing activities. This dashboard provides real-time status updates on governmental and semi-governmental entities under audit, aggregating data from various applications and systems to cover operational compliance, performance, financial data, and more.
Additionally, the FAA will launch the Financial Violations Reporting Platform, which facilitates the reporting of financial and administrative violations by the entities it oversees. This platform is integral to the FAA's mission to deliver innovative and professional audit services.
Another significant introduction is the Legislative Platform, featuring a robust search engine that enhances access to vital legislative texts across multiple categories. This tool is designed to streamline the auditing process, improving efficiency and accuracy.
Amir Ali Al Gergawi, Executive Director of the Corporate Support Sector at the FAA, emphasized the Authority's commitment to advancing digital services and adopting best practices in artificial intelligence. He stated,
"We aim to make a significant leap in utilising technology and AI in governmental auditing, strengthening governance efforts and ensuring the sustainability of public funds."
The FAA's participation in GITEX reaffirms its dedication to leveraging technological advancements to enhance public sector auditing and oversight.
