flydubai Announces Seasonal Flights to Egypt’s Al Alamein for Summer 2025

Dubai-based airline flydubai has unveiled plans to launch new seasonal summer flights to Al Alamein International Airport (DBB), offering travelers direct access to Egypt’s North Coast.

Starting on June 21, 2025, the daily flights will operate from Terminal 2 at Dubai International (DXB) and continue until September 7, 2025, catering to the growing demand for this Mediterranean leisure destination.

Ghaith Al Ghaith, CEO of flydubai, highlighted the significance of this addition, saying,

“We are excited to add Al Alamein to our seasonal summer schedule. This daily operation will enable more visitors to enjoy the stunning Mediterranean coastlines, beautiful beaches, and vibrant atmosphere of Egypt’s North Coast. flydubai remains committed to enhancing trade and tourism flows in underserved markets while supporting Dubai’s position as an aviation hub.”

With Al Alamein joining flydubai’s network, the carrier now serves three destinations in Egypt, including Alexandria and Cairo (Sphinx), with a total of 21 weekly flights. Al Alamein’s inclusion reflects the airline’s strategy to expand its summer offerings, which already feature popular destinations such as Mykonos, Santorini, and Dubrovnik.

Sudhir Sreedharan, Divisional Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations, emphasized the importance of this addition, stating,

“Al Alamein is a fantastic new addition to our summer schedule, and we are confident it will attract passengers from the UAE and beyond.”

flydubai’s expansion underscores its commitment to offering diverse travel options while supporting Egypt’s burgeoning tourism industry.
