The award ceremony, held in Dubai, saw Francois Oberholzer, Chief Financial Officer of flydubai, accepting the accolade on behalf of the airline amidst key figures from diverse sectors including travel, aviation, finance, technology, and hospitality.
This accolade, bestowed based on expert industry votes, recognizes flydubai's robust business model and its commitment to innovation in enhancing connectivity across previously underserved markets, fostering the airline's sustained growth trajectory.
Expressing gratitude for the recognition, Francois Oberholzer highlighted flydubai's dedication to elevating customer experiences and expanding its global footprint since its inception in 2009. He emphasized,

In 2024 alone, flydubai has expanded its network significantly, adding destinations like Mombasa, Langkawi, Penang, Al Jouf, and The Red Sea, with plans to launch inaugural flights to Islamabad and Lahore in Pakistan, and commence services to Basel, Riga, Tallinn, Vilnius in Europe.
Currently serving over 125 destinations across 58 countries with a fleet of 88 Boeing 737 aircraft, flydubai continues to pioneer connectivity, having welcomed more than 100 million passengers onboard and introducing over 90 new routes connecting Dubai and the UAE to previously inaccessible destinations worldwide.
