flydubai has resumed flights across its network on a reduced schedule as airspace restrictions begin to ease, with the airline gradually restoring services while closely monitoring the situation.

In a statement issued today, a flydubai spokesperson said the airline is steadily updating its schedule and reintroducing flights as conditions allow.

“We are continuously updating our schedule and adding more flights as airspace restrictions are lifted,”

the spokesperson said.

“We continue to monitor the situation closely. Flight durations may be longer than usual due to the temporary rerouting of some flight paths. The safety of our passengers and crew remains our highest priority.”

The airline warned that some journeys may take longer than usual as aircraft follow alternative routes around restricted airspace.

Flydubai has also advised passengers not to travel to the airport unless they have a confirmed booking or official confirmation of a rebooked flight. The carrier urged customers to check their flight status before heading to the airport to avoid disruptions.

The airline added that passengers connecting through Dubai will only be allowed to travel back to their point of origin if their onward connecting flight is operating.

Operations are expected to expand gradually as airspace restrictions continue to ease and more routes return to normal schedules.
