flydubai has selected ZestIoT to deploy an advanced turnaround management platform at Dubai International Airport and across its growing global network, marking a significant step in the airline’s push to enhance operational efficiency and on-time performance.
The Dubai-based carrier will implement ZestIoT’s Turnaround Management Platform to digitise ground operations and deliver real-time visibility across airport activities. The system uses artificial intelligence and predictive analytics to support faster decision-making, improve coordination, and strengthen operational predictability during aircraft turnaround.
By streamlining execution on the ground, the platform is designed to support more reliable departures and improve the overall passenger experience. The initiative aligns with flydubai’s broader strategy to invest in digital innovation as it continues to expand its footprint.
Mohamed Hassan, Senior Vice President of Airport Services and Cargo at flydubai, said real-time operational insight is increasingly critical as the airline scales. He noted that the adoption of advanced digital solutions will build on the airline’s partnership with ZestIoT and further enhance efficiency across its network.
Flydubai currently operates more than 135 destinations in 58 countries with a fleet of 97 Boeing 737 aircraft. At Dubai International Airport alone, the airline runs an average of 370 flights per day, reinforcing Dubai’s status as a major global aviation hub.
ZestIoT Chief Executive Officer Amit Sukhija said the partnership reflects a decisive move by flydubai to adopt AI-driven, prediction-based operations management at scale, positioning the airline ahead of broader industry adoption.
The collaboration further strengthens ZestIoT’s role as a technology partner for airlines seeking to modernise turnaround operations and improve passenger outcomes.
